Why Eastern Red Cedar
A wood with character you can see and smell
Color that deepens
Red heartwood and cream sapwood side by side. No two tops look alike, and the color mellows into a warm amber over the years.
Naturally durable
Cedar resists rot and insects on its own, which is why it has been used for chests and closets for generations.
Grown close to home
Eastern Red Cedar grows across Middle Tennessee. These tables are built from the same wood that grows around the shop.
Built by One Person
“I would not hesitate to order from Cory for either business or personal needs.”
Kay · Verified Etsy customer · Tennessee Cedar Co.
The studio is new. The craftsmanship isn't. Cory built Tennessee Cedar Co. and Artisan Copper Handles first, with 183+ Etsy sales and 58+ five-star reviews before the first table left the shop.
