TN Cedar & Copper Studio creates handcrafted, made-to-order furniture and copper-accented pieces. Because many of our items are large, heavy, custom built, or require special handling, shipping costs and delivery options may vary by project.
Please contact us before purchasing so we can discuss your item, dimensions, delivery location, shipping needs, and any access considerations before finalizing the order.
Shipping Availability
We offer shipping and delivery coordination throughout the United States when available and practical for the item being ordered.
Shipping methods may vary depending on the size, weight, destination, packaging needs, and carrier availability. Smaller items may ship by standard parcel carrier, while larger furniture pieces may require freight, crating, palletized shipping, blanket-wrap delivery, or a specialty furniture carrier.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are not always included in the listed product price unless specifically stated.
Each listing and listed price reflects base pricing based on the initial design shown. Shipping, freight, packaging, crating, insurance, and delivery coordination may be calculated separately depending on the final size, weight, destination, and shipping method.
Shipping costs may include:

Crating or palletizing
Freight or carrier charges
Insurance or declared value coverage
Residential delivery fees
Liftgate service, when needed
Oversized item charges
Delivery coordination time
Because shipping large custom furniture can vary widely, final shipping cost will be confirmed before the order is finalized.
Delivery Estimates
Production and shipping timelines are estimates and may vary.
Estimated delivery timing may depend on:
Current production schedule
Material availability
Copper work
Epoxy curing time
Finish curing time
Weather conditions
Carrier availability
Freight scheduling
Customer location
Packaging or crating requirements
We will provide an estimated production and shipping timeline before or during the ordering process. While we make every effort to stay close to the estimated timeline, delays can happen with handmade furniture and nationwide shipping.
Large Furniture Shipping
Dining tables, desks, coffee tables, sofa tables, entryway tables, bistro tables, benches, and other large furniture pieces may require special shipping arrangements.
Depending on the piece, your order may ship by:
Freight carrier
Blanket-wrap furniture carrier
Specialty furniture delivery service
Palletized freight
Crated shipment
Local or regional delivery when available
Large furniture deliveries may be curbside, driveway, garage, threshold, or white-glove depending on the carrier and service selected. Standard freight delivery does not always include inside delivery, room placement, assembly, unpacking, or debris removal unless those services are specifically arranged and paid for in advance.
Customer Delivery Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information before shipment.

TN Cedar & Copper Studio is not responsible for failed delivery, additional carrier fees, return freight, storage fees, or redelivery charges caused by incorrect information, missed delivery appointments, limited access, or incomplete delivery details provided by the customer.
Measuring for Delivery
Before ordering, please make sure the piece can fit into your home, office, or building.

Stairways
Elevators
Entry turns
Room dimensions
Final placement area
For large custom pieces, the customer is responsible for confirming that the item can be delivered into the intended space. TN Cedar & Copper Studio is not responsible if a custom item cannot fit through an entryway, hallway, stairway, elevator, or into the intended room due to incorrect or incomplete measurements.
Shipping Damage
We take care to package each piece as safely as possible. However, damage can sometimes occur during shipping or freight transport.
Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.
If your item arrives damaged:
Take photos of the packaging before opening, if damage is visible.
Take photos of the crate, pallet, box, labels, and delivery receipt.
Take clear photos of any damage to the item.
Keep all packaging, crate materials, pallet materials, and shipping documents.
Contact TN Cedar & Copper Studio within 24–48 hours of delivery.
Do not discard packaging until the claim process is complete.
If damage is visible at delivery, note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing whenever possible. If the item appears severely damaged, contact us before refusing delivery so we can help determine the best next step.
Failure to report damage promptly or failure to keep packaging may limit or prevent a shipping claim.
Freight Delivery Inspection
For freight shipments, please inspect the item and packaging carefully before signing the delivery receipt.
If you see damage to the crate, pallet, box, or item, write a clear note on the delivery receipt such as:
“Packaging damaged”
“Crate damaged”
“Possible concealed damage”
“Item damaged”
Do not sign the delivery receipt as clear or undamaged if visible damage is present.
Photos and written notes are very important for freight claims.
Concealed Damage
Concealed damage is damage that is not visible until the item is unpacked.
If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, contact TN Cedar & Copper Studio within 24–48 hours with photos of the item, packaging, and damage.
Please keep all packaging materials until the issue is resolved.
Repairs, Replacements & Shipping Claims
If shipping damage occurs, TN Cedar & Copper Studio will work with you to determine the appropriate resolution.
Depending on the situation, this may include:
Assistance with a shipping claim
Repair guidance
Replacement of a damaged component
A partial refund when appropriate
A remake or replacement only when necessary and approved
Full refunds are not automatically provided for shipping damage, minor cosmetic issues, natural material variation, or repairable damage.
Because each piece is custom built, the appropriate resolution will depend on the item, extent of damage, carrier claim process, and available repair or replacement options.
Shipping Insurance
When appropriate, shipments may include insurance or declared value coverage. Insurance coverage and claim approval are subject to the carrier’s terms, documentation requirements, and inspection process.
Customers must provide timely photos, keep packaging, and cooperate with the claim process if shipping damage occurs.
Delayed, Lost, or Misrouted Shipments
Once an item is transferred to the carrier, transit times are controlled by the carrier and may be affected by weather, routing delays, staffing, freight volume, holidays, or other factors outside our control.
If a shipment is delayed, lost, or misrouted, TN Cedar & Copper Studio will assist with communication and next steps when possible, but we are not responsible for carrier delays once the item has shipped.
Local Pickup or Local Delivery
Local pickup or local delivery may be available by arrangement.
If local pickup is selected, the customer is responsible for bringing proper transportation, moving help, blankets, straps, and protective materials. TN Cedar & Copper Studio is not responsible for damage that occurs after the item has been picked up by the customer or their representative.
If local delivery is arranged, delivery details, timing, placement, and any additional fees will be discussed before delivery.
Address Changes
Please contact us as soon as possible if your shipping address changes.
Address changes may not be possible once an item has shipped. If a carrier allows an address change, the customer may be responsible for any additional fees, rerouting charges, storage charges, or delivery delays.
Non-Refundable Shipping Costs
Shipping, freight, packaging, crating, palletizing, insurance, delivery coordination, and related carrier fees are generally non-refundable once incurred.
If an order is canceled after shipping arrangements, packaging, crating, or freight services have already been paid for, those costs may be deducted from any eligible refund.
