Cory Stuard - Owner - Designer & Craftsman

I’m Cory Stuard, the owner, designer, and craftsman behind TN Cedar & Copper Studio in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I personally design and build each custom piece using Eastern red cedar & copper.

My experience comes from years of woodworking and metalworking, along with operating Tennessee Cedar Co. and Artisan Copper Handles on Etsy. TN Cedar & Copper Studio brings these skills together to create distinctive dining tables, executive desks, and accent furniture designed around each client’s space, style, and needs.

As a one-person studio, you’ll work directly with me throughout the entire process—from the first conversation and design decisions to the construction, finishing, and delivery of your piece. There’s no sales team, no middleman, and no mysterious production department. Just me, the shop, and a slightly unreasonable amount of copper.

And when you’re attempting to become a copper baron, sometimes you have to play the part. That means work overalls, a serious expression, and occasionally standing beside the copper like I’m checking quarterly production at the family mine.

Every piece is designed and built by me, giving you direct communication and personal attention throughout your project. You won’t be passed from one department to another—mostly because there are no departments.

In other words, I didn’t wake up one morning, buy an apron, and declare myself a furniture empire. The empire may currently consist of one craftsman, one workshop, several machines, plenty of cedar, and enough copper to make the neighbors curious—but every dynasty has to start somewhere.
